The world of Grand Prix racing was accustomed to great talents, dominators, rational champions, and of course great characters, but between 2008 and 2011 it seemed that no one was able to understand and manage the phenomenon of Simoncelli. It was an all encompassing experience for the entire GP environment, and he left a mark on a generation not only of professionals (drivers, engineers, managers, journalists) but also of spectators.
